Current Board Opportunities
The Cool Arts Society board is seeking applications from qualified and highly motivated candidates who are interested in volunteering to promote the vision and mission of our organization.
We are currently seeking board members with experience in one or more of the following:
- Previous board experience
- Experience working in a non-profit organization
- Professional experience in Accounting, Law or Human Resources
- Ability to commit 5-10 hours per month
- Commit to a two year term
Important Note: The Cool Arts Society board is a governance board however, it is usual for board members to hold or be responsible for operational duties/roles as needed.
Successful candidates would gain valuable board experience and an opportunity to build their network, competencies, and skills collaborating in a non-profit organization.

Open Call for Arts Instructors
Cool Arts Society is seeking qualified Arts Instructors who are passionate about teaching to join our team!
Cool Arts Society, is a not-for-profit organization located in downtown Kelowna, BC. Our mission is to provide Fine Arts opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities (diversabilities) living in the Central Okanagan. Our small class sizes and inclusive environment give artists the opportunity to receive individual instruction from talented instructors, where they are encouraged to learn and develop their artistic abilities.
Applicants must have a Fine Arts degree or equivalent training and experience, as well as the proven ability to design, plan, and deliver fine arts programs.
Employment offers are conditional upon receipt of a Criminal Record Check.
Pay will be commensurate with education and previous teaching experience.
