Cool Arts Society programs are designed primarily for artists with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Classes focus on supporting each artist’s creative expression, independence, and individual learning experience.
Support workers and caregivers are welcome to attend in a supportive role only. Their role is to assist the artist when needed, not to lead activities or take over the creative process.
At all times, the artist remains at the center of the class. Instructors and staff may gently guide participation to ensure a respectful, inclusive, and artist-centered environment.
9. Images and Media
At Cool Arts Society, we sometimes take photos or videos during classes, programs, and events to share our activities and celebrate the creativity of our community. Image and media consent is collected when participants register for our programs.
We respect that everyone’s comfort level is different. Participants are always free to change their mind and update their image and media preferences at any time.
